Two Mitchell Gallagher attorneys have been retained as chairs of key Lycoming Law Association committees, for 2009.
Ed Mitchell was reappointed as chair of the Bench Bar Committee. The committee consists of Lycoming County Judges, and representative members of the bar who practice in varied fields of law. Quarterly meetings are held to allow the bench and bar to interact and address issues of concern to both. He has served as chair continuously, for a number of years.
Gary Weber has served as chair of the Customs and Rules Committee since 1992, and continues in that role in 2009. The committee is responsible for writing, revising and implementing local court rules and customs used by lawyers. In recent years the committee has undertaken extensive updating of the criminal, civil and Orphans' Court rules.
