Lycoming ReporterNot since 1977 has there been a change at the helm of the Lycoming Reporter.  For 34 years the post has been held by Bill Knecht.  On July 1, 2011, Knecht will retire from the practice of law and remove to North Carolina, leaving the Editor position.

Mitchell Gallaher attorney Gary Weber was appointed Editor of the Lycoming Reporter by the Executive Committee of the Lycoming Law Association at its May meeting, effective on July 1.  The Editor, along with the business manager, control the day-to-day operations of the Reporter, and reports to the Association at the regular monthly Executive Committee meetings.

The Lycoming Reporter is the publication designated by the Lycoming County Court of Common Pleas to publish official notices.  It was founded by now senior U.S. District Court Judge Malcolm Muir in 1946.

Weber has been associated with the Reporter for over 20 years as editor of court opinion headnotes and summaries.  He also serves as the Association's Webmaster of its Website, www.lycolaw.org.
